Electronic Non Contact Sensing Module With High Accuracy

The measurements are based on radio technology, which has many advantages compared to other methods such as optic, inductive, capacitive, ultrasonic and mechanical means of measurements.

Typical applications are level gauge measurement, collision avoidance in industrial applications, speed and distance measurements etc.

The radio based measurement technology is very robust and the method eliminates problems in harsh environments that inductive, capacitive and mechanical methods suffer from. It is not sensitive to dusty, misty environments and acoustic layers in ambient air or liquids. Since this is a method of non contact measurements it does not affect sensitive objects with scratching etc. Also, the modules contain no moving parts.

The output signal from these units is typically below 100 kHz. It can easily be interfaced to low frequency processing electronic circuits. Depending on the application, different modules operating at different radio frequencies are available
